Behind the redesign

THE BRIEF

Make technical expertise easier to understand.

The goal was to refresh an existing company website while keeping its core information: services, company background, news, and employment opportunities.

The approach

Give each section a clear purpose. Lead with the company’s value, group services into readable sections, and give visitors a direct path to the information they need.

The design decisions

Use navy, white, and restrained gold accents. Balance the desktop layout, align related content, and adapt spacing and navigation for smaller screens.

The deliverable

A responsive redesign with a home page and supporting company, news, and employment pages. The project is a design concept; launch and business results are not yet established.

My contribution: design direction, page structure, content organization, and implementation.

FOOD & HOSPITALITY / LOCAL BUSINESS WEBSITE

Sonia’s Bakery

Behind the redesign

THE BRIEF

Bring the neighborhood bakery experience online.

Reimagine the bakery’s existing directory-style page as a focused website that presents its food and makes visiting easier, while carrying the storefront’s identity into the design.

The approach

Organize sweet and savory favorites into clear categories. Give the bakery its own About Us page, feature customer review excerpts, and make the phone number, location, and hours easy to find.

The design decisions

Use storefront-inspired red and cream colors with a flowing script wordmark. Balance the desktop navigation, create readable mobile layouts, and offer complete English and Spanish versions.

The deliverable

A responsive bilingual home page and About Us page, with food category filters, customer review excerpts, tap-to-call links, and directions. Food imagery is illustrative; the concept has not been launched as the bakery’s official site, and no business results are claimed.

My contribution: design direction, page structure, bilingual content, responsive layouts, and implementation.
